Improving Southampton Village

Starts With You

Vote YES on June 19th. End Annual Village Elections.

On June 19, Southampton Village residents will vote on whether Village elections should move from every year to every other year, while changing elected officials’ terms from 2 years to 4 years.

A YES vote would move elections from every year to every other year, give Village officials 4-year terms to focus more on governing and less on campaigning, keep June elections focused on Village issues, and begin implementation in 2028.

By reducing constant election cycles, Village government can spend more time addressing local priorities, improving continuity, and planning for the future.
